great atmosphere but minor shower issue
The staff made us feel incredibly welcome! I particularly enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden view while sipping on some excellent local Pale Ale. The bar offered a pleasantly relaxed environment, and the fresh meals we had were both satisfying and reasonably priced.
The shower in our room was quite slippery, which raised some safety concerns.

The twin room was a decent size, and the new ensuite was nice, but watch out for that slippery shower! The bed was comfy enough for a couple nights. Location had plenty of parking, but my elderly mom struggled with the street food situation on our second night since it limited dining options.

Perfect pub stay!
The staff were super chill and really made you feel at home. Had a nice pint in the bar after a long day. The food was decent pub grub—really enjoyed the homemade pies! Just wish the shower had a better setup—got a bit slippery. Great location with lovely views too!
